Baseball should have computer umpire for strike zone?
I heard an interview where an MLB pitcher claimed that some Umpires were blatantly biased for or against certain pitchers and hitters, increasing or reducing the strike zone.
The technology exists, why not use a high speed camera to automatically judge the strike zone?
no, its all based on judgement if we're going to put macines in why not put in a pitching machine and cameras to see if batters are out and to see if a hit really is a homerun. sports are unique because of some of the mistakes but their are most likely mistakes toward both teams. the sport is not supposed to be perfect and we can never make it that way because it will only ruin it
