#1535 America Star Garland
Wow, a fun piece!! Show your patriotism this summer or all year round with this wonderful hand-made star garland with hand-stitched "America". I have pieced together various deep red, navy, tan and off-white fabrics to create each star, using a pattern from Brenda Gervais. I have then handstitched each letter using a deep red color of embroidery floss. Strung them together and added a bit of German glass glitter for just a bit of sparkle!! The individual stars measure about 4"across and 4-1/2" tall. The total garland measures about 28", not including small embroidery floss loops on the ends for hanging.
